Lisbon remains one of southern Europe’s strongest student cities, with a university network that attracts students from Portugal, Europe, and further afield. A central location gives residents fast access to public transport, campus life, culture, shops, food markets, and the everyday rhythm of Lisbon neighbourhoods. For students, that means a practical base for study and a real connection to the city around them.
Lamas is a 124-room purpose-built student residence in Lisbon, developed by Promiris in collaboration with the Belgian group Cetim. The 3,800 sqm building was delivered in June 2024 and leased long term to Odalys, one of France’s leading student residence operators. It is the third student housing project Promiris has delivered to Odalys in Portugal, following Granjo and Asprela in Porto.
Construction began in 2022 and the residence was delivered in June 2024. Lamas was built with BREEAM standards in mind, with energy performance, indoor comfort, and material quality considered throughout the development process.
