Coimbra

Coimbra is Portugal's historic university city, shaped for centuries by one of Europe's oldest universities and by the student life that still defines its streets. The residence is located at the northern entrance of the city, close to the train and bus terminals, with direct public access to the main university hubs. That position gives students a practical base: connected to transport, close to campus life, and still part of the everyday rhythm of Coimbra.

The Coimbra residence will offer 250 fully equipped rooms, combining modern comfort with integrated services for academic-year living. Positioned between the Medicine hub on one side and the Law and Economics hub on the other, the project is designed around access, routine, and wellbeing: rooms that support study, common areas that support community, and outdoor spaces that keep the building connected to its setting.

The Coimbra project is being developed with BREEAM standards as a target. As with all our student residences, construction quality, sustainability, and energy efficiency are considered from the earliest specification stages, so performance is part of the project rather than an afterthought.
